Based on Caelum Vatnsdal’s popular seminal book on history of Canadian horror cinema, the upcoming documentary THEY CAME FROM WITHIN will track the origins of Canada’s unique footprint in the world of genre film. From the early beginnings, to the Tax Shelter era that launched legendary filmmakers like David Cronenberg and Bob Clark, and eventually showing how those beginnings continue to influence the impressive and diverse new wave of horror creators keeping Canada on the genre map. Interviews with dozens of notable personalities will help tell the story.
